    Yeah they vary alot around here from green to black, either way they have a nasty bite, I see them eating tree frogs and crayfish pretty frequently.

    Awesome! 10/29/06? I'm jealous! all we had on the 29th was frost!

    How did I miss this thread? It's a great one! I love all the pics :) Stick insects are one of my favorites kinds...That water bug gives me shivers though...eating frogs? Yikes! :eek: I'm not getting any of my fingers anywhere near that thing! :rolleyes:

    10/29 was the last warm day for us. I had just got back from road cruising where I saw 19 snakes on the road.

    Now Kansas is cold.
