    Never let your guard down always respect it. He calms down after i take him out for a bit only time I take my hands off him is to weigh him

    Oh okay so it's sort of like having a large snake.

    You can't trust them, but you can learn their behaviors, and never get complacent?

    Most dwarf caimans grow to 7 feet. There is however a crocodilian that is even smaller. That is the chinese alligator. It is related to the big gators of the south but only grows 4 feet which is 4 times smaller than an american alligator.

    That is still about as long as lots of people are tall. But its bite is less deadly than a caiman bite because of its smaller size. It would be closest to the lethality of a lizard bite which is low.

    More people would be able to afford an alligator that only grows 4 feet than an alligator that grows up to 16 feet.
