I have a floor where double sided tape has been used to hold indoor outdoor carpet to linoleum tiles. I can pull up the carpet fine but when pulling up the tape some of the tiles are coming free. This is the floor of my bathroom and I know that many of you have experience with tiles in cages and well my ig does walk in there occasionally.

    1) What can I use to reattach these tiles? I don’t care if they ever come back up so would something like JB Quik work?

    2) The tape is leaving a sticky residue behind short of buying Goo Gone at a premium what would any of you suggest to clean the stick off the tile. Perhaps the charcoal lighter fluid I have…

I use liquid nails to reattach the tiles (be sure to wipe up the excess its hard to get off once it's dry!) and to get sticky stuff off 75% rubbing alcohol usually works, or acetone, but be sure to open a window and keep Bob out of there until things dry out, maybe even wash the floor first.
