Our New Kingsnake..No name yet!

    well our king just had another shed yesterday. I came home from work to see it laying in front of him. Does anyone elses kingsnake like to shake its tail at you when you try to pick him up? I know its a warning sign for "your irritating me yo.." lol. But once i pick him up he's just fine. I know kingsnakes are a little more agressive than a BP, and i originally thought it was because he was beging to shed, but now that it's over with he still does it.. this is the first time i noticed him doing it.

    Kings do it, corns do it, bulls do it. Its a very common display.

    ok well i was just curious. Im sure he's done it all along, i just never really noticed till recently. thanks

    If they do it out in the open its easily overlooked. Its when they are against something hard or in dry leaves etc, that it is really noticeable.
    Catch a big bullsnake in dry leaves and you'd swear it was a rattler!
