    With as many Ig and Beardie bites as I've had over the years I quess I should count myself lucky that I have a natural immunity!!!!!

    By the sound of this argument, anything that produces saliva is dangerous... good thing I have that immunity that you all share or I would have died a long time ago.

    You know this all started with the "Yellow Spotted Lizard" from the book "Holes". They found out all the beardies they used in the movie were really deadly.

    Actually this is the same guy who says that most ofthe worlds snakes, including rat snakes and garter snakes are actually venomous!
    They just lack a good delivery system like front fangs!

    Venomous they may be, but the amount of venom they produce must be miniscule. I wonder if the venom is to help in breaking down food for digestion, something like stomach acid, only before it hits the stomach.

    Anyway, it's interesting to learn, but I hope people don't start focusing on that as a negative to owning one. There's really no danger to anybody from it.

    lol, leave it to nature to give you venom, but then forget to give you the fangs to use it, billions of years and she still cant do nothing right, lol
