    She's a real beauty! :)
Once you've got it all set up correctly, give her a week or two of undisturbed time (just change the water and spot clean or mist as needed). No handling for that time!
Then you should feed her and leave her alone again for a few days to digest. (difficult, I know! :( )

I use either Forest Bark (my husband hates, I love) or the Aspen bedding (my husband loves, I hate). Aspen is good for burrowing. It really depends on what you want to use. You can use newspaper, papertowels. We shredded the newspaper up with the paper shredder and put it in. Ive also heard of un dyed cypress mulch is really good (but I have yet to try that). I dont trust something that could bring in bugs in my house. I have figured out what is best for mites though. Newspaper (not shredded).

So the guy i got my boa from was feeding her live food an now i cant get her to eat dead food what do i do? or will she get hungry enough and eat on her own?

If you are using frozen/thawed, thaw it out completely and then, just before offering it to your snake, drop it in VERY hot (not boiling) water then use long feeding tongs to wiggle it a bit in front of her. (If using pre-killed, you still have to make sure its warm enough to pass for a live one.)
When she's hungry enough, she'll take it!
It could be she's not eating because you haven't given her enough quiet time to adjust to the new surroundings. You can wait a week until she's settled in and you are over your flu. (She will not starve, I swear, but she WILL be nice and hungry and take the f/t!)
PS for my BRB I used those coco-humus bricks that you dissolve in hot water as a substrate. I still use it for my Ball python.

Thanks a ton andrea :) i know the guy gave her 2 fuzzies last week so she might still not be hungry because of that and i usually thaw the food in hot water just before
