    Hello Everyine,

I just recently joined the network, and wanted to share some pictures of a Vivarium that I constructed recently. The dimensions are approximately 5' W x 5'6" T X 2' D. It took me approximately 2-3 weeks to complete, as I tried to do it on my spare time. Does the set up look ok? Do you see any areas of opportunity? Any feedback is very much welcomed.

I like it! The one thing I would do different is to change out that diagonally vertical climbing bar to a length of tree branch. What you have appears to be smooth dowel rod and the tree branches irregularity will make it easier for climbing.
And you will soon have to have something bigger in diameter anyway.

    Very nice!

Did you stain the outside? and what kinda wood did you use? Also what method did you use for the inside background area's? Hard to tell in the pictures.

My CWD needs a re-model in the near future, and so far all my custom enclosures have been painted.

I went to lowes and purchased some kitchen countertop laminate. I made sure to cut it to size and that there were no rough or sharp edges. they make several different patterns and colors, so you can fit it to your personal taste. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me.
