New Enclosure Set Up

    I tried the slate tile idea and it worked out. With the slate resting on where the under tank heater is, the temperature is in the upper 80's. I use aquarium sealant to keep it in place and to keep Friday from slithering under it. Once that set for 24 hours, I put down the aspen bedding on the remaining two thirds of the tank. Here is what it looks like.

    And here is Friday, hiding. His colors aren't so bright because he is about to shed. This is his second shed since I got him a couple months ago. He is also excitedly eating f/t pinkies consistently. I've very happy with him :)

    I would also supply a hiding spot on the cooler end as well. That way it doesn't have to choose between temperature and secrity.

    There is. The green rock has an opening and is hollow.
