New Boa.

?

Is this a typical boa or a color morph? i was told it was 100% het. albino.

    100% Het. Albino boa, a baby just getting used to the world.

    It's a typical boa, looks quite similar to our baby female. She's also het for albino, and our young male is double het albino and leopard. Both ours look pretty typical aside from a wee bit of stripe on the female's tail, and the male does have a little salmon color.

    He's neat. I saw some het albinos for sale recently and they also looked like that. I don't really dig into the various morphs too much but they kinda look amelanistic. I wonder if albinism in boas isn't different than in other species in that you can see some physical difference even when the snake is only het for albino?

    Cool little boa either way.

    Yes it is getting darker so I am leaving her alone with plenty of drinking water.Thanks.

    I was thinking about getting one in the future, in your opinion are they good for handling?
