    As you know my new leo had a prolasped rectum an well it came back an he is not eating an looks like he is on deaths bed an today being thanksgiving nothing is open around here. is there any how do i put this nice was to put a lizard to sleep without a vet, i could bring him tomorrow but i dont want him suffering. i sound like such an animal i just feel soo bad for her an i dont know what to do with her.

    Hello,
    I don't advise you to put the Leo down.Something like that is very stressful on the reptile. You should allow the reptile to remain heated and alone for awhile before you give up on him. It could take him days before he shows any signs of getting better. It could actually take more than a week.
    Good luck,and if you still decide to put him down, see a vet.
