Necrosis On A Rough Green Snake

    WP_20160116_23_24_04_Pro[1].jpg WP_20160116_23_24_37_Pro[1].jpg My adult rough green snake, Roxy, has black/blue splotch on her body. I'm really hoping its not septicemia. If it is, I don't think the treatment will be cheap. It might cost more than what I spent to get her. Its definitely not a burn mark because I use a UVB light and doesn't get too hot. There's no swelling and that's the only spot affected. She's not red at all and I have no idea what it is. If at all possible, any helpful information is much appreciated.

    Hi, can you show a photo of the whole enclosure and say how you heat it?
    As far as treating whatever it is, you have a responsibility to provide what the animal needs even if the cost is greater than what you paid for it.
    If you can`t do that you shouldn`t be keeping them (no disrespect).
