This Disappears When Logged In

My First Experience with Mites.

    Those snakes of mine that have carpet for substrate are fed in their cage. The rest I feed in bins.

    I might have to try that one. It makes sense.

    On a related note, I went hiking today, and found a large tick on my jeans when I got back. Decided to test the effectiveness of this mite spray (claims to also be effective on ticks) so I put the tick in a small dish with a spritz of the stuff. Checked on him 40 minutes later, and he is most assuredly dead.

    Yay! Killing ticks as a pasttime! I'm absolutely FOR that!

    Apparently, you can treat clothes and stuff with Permethrin before going out, to repel and kill ticks, mites, mosquitoes, etc. I'm lucky I live in an area where the Lyme Disease Risk is small. That will be changing in March. As much time as I spend outdoors, I will be taking a lot more precautions than I currently do.

    Hi all, I know forums frown on posting link to other sites/forums, and the only reason I am doing this is because it is the most helpful link I have ever found for Mites. It has worked for me every time I used it.
