My first blaptica dubia egg sac help!

    Minutes ago I checked my dubia tank and I saw an egg sac .I removed it immediately and put it on a heater.Will they hatch ?..

    They will hatch on their own without help from you. Just leave it in the roach colony.

    When I opened the plastic container I saw a little dubia roach eating and destroying the egg sac ,half of the egg sac is like smashed.I don't know what to do .Should I put it back so that the female withdrawn it back or the babies will appear.

    Will they hatch or the egg sac is empty ???/ :O

    It will not hatch. Dubias give live birth not lay egg sacks. The female dumped the sack probably do to stress or the condition in the cage.

    Females incubate the eggs in them for about 30 days then give live birth.

    Once a sac is dumped, the female isn't going to pick it back up.

    I completely forgot they are live bearers, lol.
