    Any type of turtle in particular. I have a yellow belly, a mississippi mapp, and a yellow spotted.

    Yeah, care can vary a lot with the species. If you're new to keeping turtles, I'd stick with something simple and common, like the well known red-eared slider. However, if you come across a painted turtle or a cooter, the care is very similar. I'd stear clear of any soft shelled turtles, snapping turtles, or any really expensive turtles. Turtles are more expensive to keep than most people realize. They aren't all that expensive to maintain I guess, but its the initial supplies that add up. Once you have all the stuff you need, they're not too pricey. I have a florida red-bellied turtle, western painted turtle, african side-necked turtle, and a red-eared slider myself. Oh, and I have yahoo messenger, but not AIM.
