We're done for now! It still needs to be pushed against the wall and I need to hook up the humidifier, but it's livable. I'm so happy to have my boy back, I've missed him over the last month while he's been staying with my parents!

Cute pic. He's going to be quite happy and healthy in the new digs.

well **** Lacey, just take your sleeping bag in there and looks like you have enough room to spread out and sleep with him. (wonder if he is into cuddling?)

Looks great Lacey! Now when you get chilly, you can just climb in with him and have some quality time while warming up. :)

Sweet, ! plan on builing one looking more like this and keeping my larger one outside so I can take turns letting my animals get some florida sun on those summer days

There is definitely room for me in it, and another person and the iguana...and we've got storage space on the bottom that would hold a twin mattress no problem. Possibly a double even.

What's in the upside down milk crate? Humidifier?

Milk crate = ladder. It's not very fancy, but it works for now.

The humidifer is behind the crate, its not hooked up yet though.

He was like a lazy lump in his old cage, he never left his shelf. Now he's all over. I guess its a good thing...

LOL... He'll be a lazy lump again soon enough. For now, he has to go exploring!

This is awesome! Jeeze, I would love something like this, and I'm sure Lucy would. Ours is okay, nothing like that though. Congradulations

Well I replaced his carpet with newspaper today because he seems to have forgotten his bathroom etiquette. It's ugly but we'll have to wait for him to get back on a schedule.

He ate yesterday (a little bit) but not today so maybe he wont be full of poo tomorrow, i'm annoyed with the constant cleaning. I don't know what I would do with a non-potty trained lizard.

Having moved Gil about 8 times in his 5 years, I can tell you that this is normal. He's exploring and making his new enclosure "his" by stinking it up! Gil routinely did this when moving to larger (i.e. new) enclosures. With this most recent enclosure, we used the same door, which helped it to retain "his" smell. He didn't feel the need to mark it as his own.

Hang in there... it will get better! :)
