More Parasites!!! Internal!!!

    Ok, he's back from the vet, they were pinworms. It turns out he was perfectly healthy! The feeder fish never gave it to him, he's had them his entire life!

    The pinworms are normal, they don't do anything bad to turtles. It's a very common parasite.

    Did they give you anything to get rid of them? I am sorry but that level of large pinworms isnt normal and should be eradicated just to make him healthier.

    The vet said that he just had extra ones, he will eventually flush them out of his system. That's why he's been excreting them. So no medication needed.

    Because he never started excreting pinworms until now which means that the extra pinworms are dying off and being flushed out of his system.
