here's Juliet, the mother to all the babies that i posted about in "Baby Mantis Help" i found her outside my work one day while i was there and we took her in cuz it was getting cold. she came home with me in November and during the time i knew her she made 2 egg sacs and worked on a third but the third is unfinished. i'm not sure if there's anything in it. she passed away before she finished. now she left me with lots of little adorable babies! hope everything goes well for them and will post more pics as they grow! :D she was very wonderful and i enjoyed the time i had her.

Very beautiful!! I don't see very many of those have the green color like yours. Most are all brown with a little green on the wing.

the last mantis i saw was the brown with a little green on the wing. i never saw one like Juliet before except for in pics. yes in that one picture she is making the egg sac (still don't remember how to spell actual name) but that was before she died and she unfortunately never finished it. i kept it anyway just in case there's something inside.

Great pics! Mantids are pretty cool and I was fascinated by ours. Sadly they have both died now, it's such a shame they don't live for long. But good luck with all the babies she left you! Looking forward to pics as they grow. :)
