As several of you know, I now have Tomato frogs. They are doing great, eating like pigs!! 40 small crickets every 3 days!! I have now become hooked on other Madagascar species. I have tried Kingsnake looking for either Boophis or Heterixalus, but no luck. Does anyone have any idea where I might be able to make contact with a breeder (would prefer captive bred stock, if possible) or an importer (if all else fails)?? Any info will be appreciated. Thanks again all!!

once in a while, they have imported frogs on kingsnake from madagascar. I don't know of anyone breeding anything (BTW your tomato isn't a true madagascar tomato frog. No one has true tomato frogs, they are protected.). You just have to keep a look out.

I found out that the True Tomato frogs (D. angilli) are protected. I have the D. guineti and D. insularis varieties. Not as red when mature, but still cute ;)
