Juvi Black Rat on Disc Golf Course

    This was such a beautiful little Black Rat ! I saw 3 adults last year on this same course, so it does my heart good to see a healthy baby. I hope to run across this one again in a few years :)

    Here is a habitat shot. I found the snake immediately after this throw, walking down the path about 50 feet down that first little dip:

    Ok, so you play golf using a disk? I've never heard of this! It looks more like trails than a golf course, I figured that your ball went in the woods, lol

    Yes! It stated out as frisbee golf, but now there are specialized discs- drivers, mid range, putters... And you throw into chain link and metal baskets on posts.

    Always good to see young snakes. You know they are doing well in that area.
    Oh and nice throw. I've never been able to keep a frisbee straight.
