Since I had the camera out I decided to take a few shots of my little jcp. He has eaten regularly, and had a shed.
There have been absolutely no signs of aggression. No hissing, no striking,.... nothing.
And he seems to be getting lighter in color so maybe I will get that nice bright yellow adult.

Very nice, the pattern on his head looks like a jester!

Its not for sure since the vendor bought a group of them. But some of that group was from VPI stock.

Great looking JCP! Mine never got super bright. And she can occasionally be a bit...testy. :)

LOL! Yeah I looked at several and all of them either wanted to hose me or eat my fingers!
In fact it scared off one lady who was looking at them. Apparently she didn't much care for the idea of a snake that might bite her.

Then she shouldn't have pets? Lol

My IJ used to be really docile, but then she went through a shed and now she can be a demon snake. She has struck at me countless times, but so far I have been able to avoid getting tagged.

    Exactly!
There are two kinds of snake keepers.
    Those who have been bitten,....
    And those who will be!

Well hopefully this guy will continue to be laid back. I have been around several adult jungles that were quite docile.
    But only time will tell!

    I like the mean ones.

But seriously, I've been bit by all species of the snakes I keep but one (the hognose, knock on wood). I have been been by the most docile lizards (leopard geckos, bearded dragons, crested geckos). I have been bitten by dogs, cats (worst bite I had in a long while), horses, birds, goats, sheep, and human children. If you are afraid of being bitten, don't get a pet.

Merlin, your snake has such a pretty head! I love the shape.

    I absolutely agree with that.
