I Just got my tegu and have her in a 75g tank with cypress mulch as a substrate. Im wondering if i should use a humidifier to keep her humidity in her tank constant that way i dont have to worry about misting it constantly. im wondering if this would be a good idea.

get rid of the screen top, and it will hold humidity better. or build a cage out of wood and it will hold humidity even better.

it would, but the humidity will just escape out the top.

so only if i closed the top correct. Because i was planning on putting some ply wood for the top that way the lamps can be inside and not blocked by the mesh top.
