This Disappears When Logged In

    Rather new here. Second post I think. Lets start it off with a couple pics of our Sidewinder (C. cerastes).

    Beautiful snake. Over here they're called Horn vipers (though we don't have them here). I was very tempted to pick up a pair of puffotters (puff vipers?). But my wife wouldn't have that in her lifetime.

    There is a snake from Africa called a Horned viper that looks very similar to the sidewinder.
    The sidewinder is a rattlesnake.
    The true horned viper is not.

    Understand that one. My X would not either. But she's an x. HA.
    The lady in my life now really digs all 3 hots I have. She came with her own reptile collection. heh heh.

    Hi there also new. That is a lovely snake you have there.
    BTW The horned adders here in SA are bitis family you get caudalis (horned adder) and cornuta (many horned). As for puff adder B. arietans the are rewarding and I must say the easiest to keep.
