    Hey everyone!
I read online that sand boas like a side of their cage to be anywhere from 85-90 degrees and have the other side of the tank cooler. I started off Whiskey's cage with just a heated pad to see how it would change the temperature and it went up to about just 75 degrees, so today i went to the pet store to pic up a heat light..he's in a ten gallon tank and I bought a 40 watt bulb..do you think that is too strong? please let me know what you all think as the guy at the pet store said it should be fine but I want to make sure it doesn't get too hot for him.
    Thanks

The answer to your question will be on your thermometer. ;)
