Hatchlings Are Starting to Pop Up

    I've been down the past few days and my wife found this little guy while she was working in the yard. She brought it in so I could get a picture of this years first hatchling (1st pics) of the season :) Was very hard getting a picture from bed so I had to use the flash and still not many good ones. Not in the best condition to hold my camera steady...

    Hope to get out there soon and get some better pics ASAP :)

    I live in Washington, by the Puget Sound. We don't have much lizards there hahaha

    Yea, looking at the maps your to far west for a majority of lizards. However the Northern Alligator Lizard is in your area. Mild looking but cool lizards none the less :)

    Huh... I have never seen one of those. The map SAYS they should be around here, but I have never seen them. We have a lot of skinks, and it looks somewhat like a skink, but I would not have mistaken the two... I'm going to do a deeper research on them and try and find some.
