I might be picking up a baby/juvi carpet python today and was wondering how they like their tanks set up.

It depends on how big the snake is.
I keep hatchlings in shoe box sized sterilites.

I don't mean cage size. I have lots of different size tanks and hate shoe boxes or tubs. I mean what kind of deco they like. Things to hide in, climb, plants? Stuff like that

What type of carpet python are you getting? They love to climb so give it some sturdy branches to perch up on. I give my carpet three different hides, but she only seems to actually use the one on the warm side. She will sit on top of the others but doesn't really go inside them. Fake plants work well for providing some cover, particularly up on the perches.
