i have been trying to find a ground cover for my BP enclosure. i got some stuff at home depot last spring sold as Scottish moss for around my water garden. it is extremity hardy to foot traffic, but is it safe. i know i can use certain types of grass but i dont want to have to mow my enclosure. any help would be great

the proper name is Irish moss, or Sagina Subulata

LOL! Put ME on the spot!
I don't know everything about every plant!
But I don't see anything on there that jumps out at me. Other than the goldfish plant being listed with a warning.
You may have an issue with your moss as it likes high light. I have used it as ground cover on bonsai trees.

Oh and by the way there is a scotch moss as well as an irish moss. They are two different species.

What sized enclosure do you have? What is the lighting in the enclosure?

Honestly, for heavier snakes like BPs, Ive always found that the best bet for ground cover was still pothos. Not only do mosses require quite a bit of light, like Merlin said, but your BP will likely trample it. Pothos grows like crazy and is much more able to survive low light and being climbed all over. Spider plants do quite well also.
