Green Anole Staying Brown

I've tried everything to get my anole green. I've checked his poop, I've added more hides, I put him on a higher shelf so he didn't have to see me, and I've changed his lighting. He isn't showing any visible signs of illness. He eats 4 crickets every other day, he has 60%-70% humidity throughout the day, I use dechlorinated water, and his enclosure is a 10 gallon that stays around 80°F.

I'm at a loss here, if anyone could give me their opinion on the situation it would be helpful.

maybe the seller didn't sell you a green anole?

otherwise im sure someone else will have some questions to determine why.

I'm pretty sure he's a green anole because he turns green while he's sleeping.
