Gray Banded Kingsnake Not Eating and Popping Its Mouth Open.

I posted here last week that I had a baby gray banded kingsnake that tried eating once, but the day old pinky seemed almost as if it was too big to go down. After about a half hour, he let go of the day old pinky. Some people wanted a comparison picture, but its kind hard to get a photo like that. The girth of the pinky isn't that much bigger than my snake's head; it seems like it should have no issues. Well anyways, it has been a week since then and it still refuses to eat. And to make it worst, it keeps doing this wierd thing where it pops its mouth open real quick ( not like a strike). Even when I'm holding it, it pops its mouth open every 10 to 20 seconds. What is this mouth popping, and how can I get it to eat? It has been a month now since I've had the snake.

Hold it near you ear and see if you can hear a crackling/poping sound you might be dealing with a respitory infection.

How are you housing it? Give as much detail as possible.
RI's usually have a source in husbandry.
