This Disappears When Logged In

Found A Lizard. Identification?

    I live in southern california but I'm not sure if this is native. I found it in my new house I just moved into. I think it may be a lost/ abandoned pet. I kept it a moderate climate bc that's what it's been living in. It looked pretty hungry and thirsty, I set up a basic desert style terrarium with mealworms, and small crickets because it's small.     Hi, I think it`s an Alligator lizard but I`m not sure about the captive care, hopefully another member will be..

    I couldn't get a good picture but the tail is maybe four inches long. Hope this info helps anyone.

    Yup!! That's a Southern Alligator lizard :) They're awesome! I'm breeding them this year.

    Thanks a lot! I actually was wondering if I should change the felt to soil it's claws get stuck:(

    Yeah I would. Their Ideal substrate is eco earth mixed with something like repti-bark.
