Five Lined Skink

    I rescued this guy from the cat. I'm pretty sure he's an adult male five lined skink. He just had some scratches, so I applied betadine and released him. And no, the blood on my hand is not from him.

    Great job, poor little guy must have been scared! Hopefully he will be faster then the cat next time

    Thanks guys! It feels so good when you are able to save something and when you get to see them run back off into the wild. We have very few five lined and broad headed skinks around here as well, we mostly have ground skinks and anoles.
