Ok I've had males all my life and final have a female now and she was sweet and loving and now the B bites me and anyone else that handles her now. I've had her for 6 months and never had an issue until now. She just started acting like this. I have nieces and I'm afraid that she will strike one of them. She is 5.5 feet long... it's this a sign she is wanting to mate or what.. cause this is getting annoying. Can someone please help.

How long has she been acting like that? Most people don't realize it but snakes can have bad moods too so just give her a while alone (maybe 1 - 3 weeks ish) and see if that helps :)

Hi there, do you mind giving a general rundown of the enclosure as well as her feeding habits? Are you sure shes's being fed enough? Is her enclosure large enough for her and does she have enough privacy and places to hide? What are the temperatures and humidity in the enclosure? Do you have her on a day and night cycle?
