Curious how everyone handles switching a snake from live to frozen.

Currently have a short-tail baby which will take lives. He's very hesitant about it, and it usually takes him about 3-5 minutes to decide when to strike, but he's taking about a fuzzy-l/hopper-s fine.

I've once gotten him to eat a thawed, but that seemed like a fluke. He also ate a fresh-kill last week.

Typically he'll get all excited and smell the thawed for a long time, and push it around with his nose some, but he just can't seem to work up the nerve to strike.

    Any tips?
