What size food item should a frog about one inch long be fed? I got a few froglets from one of my cousins and haven't had to feed anything this small. They are soo cute though.:)

Really small bugs. I'm feeding my baby FBT 10 day old crickets.

I was using the pinhead crickets - which may be the same thing Liz suggested, just by a different name.

Pinhead crickets or wingless fruit flies would be your best bet.

Steph, I think pinheads and 10 day old crickets are the same thing. I've also heard them called size 1 crickets and extra smalls. I think it all depends where you buy them.

    Thanks Justin - I figured, but wasn't 100% sure.

And regarding the fruit flies -- make sure you get the wingless and NOT the flightless. The wingless have no wings (duh), but the the flightless are genetically designed not to fly -- but do so as they get older.

Take it from one with experience on THAT issue!

actually, pinhead crickets are just a bit smaller than 10 day olds, but not by much.
