Thanks :) It's been a ton of work and I am quite proud. My hubby and I are going to haul it upstairs today.

Very nice Liz! That is great!
Though personally I would stain the supporting cabinet to match the enclosure!

the supporting cabinet was only $45 so i can't complain. We were going to paint it black to match the rest of the room. I still haven't decided. its a standard bathroom vanity cabinet. I'm not sure if paint will stick to it or not.

sand it first and it will. just enough to get the top layer of clear sealant off...

More than likely it has the thermofoil doors on it. They kind of feel like plastic. We use them frequently at work. No idea if you can paint those or not. Probably if you rough them up with sandpaper and use a latex primer. The paint should stick.

I called krylon and they said to use their paint called Fusion. It sticks to everything including plastic. I might give it a whirl. I have to do it now or forever hold my peace since once the tank is full of rocks and dirt, I don't think I will be able to move it.

I tried using fusion on some PVC pipe flutes I made. It did take but seemed to chip off pretty easily.

hmmmmm..... maybe i should leave it white. It would look BETTER black, but i don't mind it white. The white matches the futon it sits next to.

DONE!!! The frogs are stressed, just like I thought they would be. I'm sure they will settle in. I made sure to feed each one last night, since I knew it was probably going to be about a week before anyone wants to eat again.
