Corn Cob Bedding

    Does the coco-fiber stay wet all the time?

    You don't want ANY substrate to stay constantly wet. Thats an open invitation to scale rot(blister disease).

    I just spray it with a garden mister once every few weeks. It'll usually dry back out in a few days. Seems to still retain enough moisture to not be visibly wet or noticeably wet when touched, while keeping it humid enough for the snakes to have good sheds.

    Never actually measured the humidity though.

    Humidity is never going to be a problem In Mississippi.

    Is that what the misting systems are for?
