We just got a new boa at a reptile show. They told us she's a good eater, which she appears she wants to be a good eater. However, when I go to feed her, she misses the frozen/thawed mouse I'm dangling from my tweezers, and she gets visibly upset that she's missed. She strikes at the mouse twice, misses both times, then gets so upset that she wants nothing to do with the mouse. I've tried giving her a twenty minute break, heating up a new mouse, and setting it in the bottom of the feeding container, but she clearly doesn't want it if it's not moving. Do you guys have any advice?
