Cleaning Branches

I recently added several branches to my green tree frog vivarium. I baked them to prep them to go into the tank.

When I do my routine tank cleanings, what is the best way to clean them? Am I going to have to bake them each time or do the thorough bleach soak? Or can I just scrub them down like I do the rest of the accessories?

Well if you boiled them in the first place im sure it is okay just to scrub them down like you do with the other items in the tank. Unless you want to be on the safe side you can just boil them again.

I would not bleach the log though, I think it could absorb some of the bleach and cause harm to your frogs, as their skin, like most amphibians is very sensitive.

If you baked them appropriately they should be fine and only need to be scrubbed like the rest of your decor.

If you wet the log first so it absorbs water then scrub with a diluted bleach solution(dont soak) and rinse good it should be fine. You don't want to absorb the bleach.
