Some of you seem very good at keeping them. I have 2 as house plants, had 4 but 2 died. Can someone give me advice?

With broms from the garden center it's best to give them as much light as possible without direct sunlight. Water just by slightly over filling the vase of the plant about once a week and don't alow the soil to stay wet if planted. Root rot kills about 90% of all broms and orchids and overwatering is the biggest mistake made by most people.

Of the 2 that died, one rotted from too much water, and the other got root bound. We had it for about 3 years and never repotted it. The other 2 are doing well at my mom's office, although she did have to ask her coworkers to stop watering her plants. At school, all of the staff that doesn't teach got broms, and I've been trying to help them as well.
