    Indeed! I would never be free handling a venomous snake anyways.
    I have taken a bite from a 14 ft python.
    It didn't do anywhere NEAR the damage that Lacey took from her iguana!

    yeah, snake bites are so overrated. Everyone is afraid of them, for no good reason. I would take a snake over most any animal I work with. Even the bald eagle doesn't bite bad, and she aims for the face! (talons = another story) I have been munched by opossums, young alligators, bald eagle, cockatoo, other small parrots, kinkajous, prairie dogs, blue tongue and prehensile tailed skinks, flyinq squirrels, sugar gliders, rabbits, dogs, cats, all of my pet snakes, a small snapping turtle, assorted owls, and even a Centipede. let me tell you, the snakes are NOTHING! that cockatoo takes the cake for "worst bite I have yet experienced"

    Snake bites are very short and brief.(Unless they are huge) Iguana and Chameleons try to rip you open! As well as many others I suspect.
