Blue Iguana gets a promotion!

    It seems that our most endangered iguana species, Grand Caymen Blue Iguana (Cylura lewisi) has been promoted from a sub-species to a full species.

    There are less than 10 of these iguanas left in the wild, but the Blue Iguana Recovery Program (the one recently hit by the hurricane) is about to release many tagged yearlings into the wild in an attempt to re-populate the native area once again.

    Way cool Dom! (about the new species, not the whole endangered thing;)). 10 isn't a lot! I hope the recovery program works well!
