My parents moved into a new house and the yard has been infested with Black Widows. We have killed nearly a dozen in a few months. My son found 2 this weekend and I took pictures. One is a juvenile and has some of the most impressive red stripes on its back. I have never seen one with quite so unique color.

Really great pics! I remember camping once and waking up to our stuff being covered by black widows. It must have been a nest area or something for as many as we found.

The worst thing I have ever woken up too while camping was a scorpion in the tip of my shoe! Just for anyones future reference; ALWAYS tap your shoes out after they have been off your feet, while you are camping in the desert. Otherwise you might just get your big toe clamped on as I did. :">

The apartment complex I live in is infested with black widows. I honestly can't go a day without seeing one somewhere in this death trap. These pictures are amazing, btw!
