so as I checked on allele just now I noticed that she had molted. when I found and picked her up I noticed her colors were more vibrant than ever. and more defined with some yellow too

It still after all these years amazes me how much more intense the colors are immediately after a shed!

I know right? I'm a bit dissappointed though in my two juvenile bps. they went from yellow to brown almost overnight it seemed

My BPs phase a bit too - one male is a very pale yellow, but close to shedding, he has pretty typical ball coloration, then after shedding, viola, he's yellow again.

All of mine display a blue/purple iridescence after shedding, even in household light, though it is more pronounced in natural light.

My RTBs do the same. and my Brazilian is just spectacular (even her molts have slight iridescence to them!)
