Hey, I work with reptiles and I am currently treating a sideneck with a mild case of shell rot. I've been doing a lot of research but can't seem to find a good resource listing the best quality of water for them. What is ideal to aid in the healing process.

I've heard Peat moss and driftwood boost tannins and lower PH which is ideal but I have no way to confirm that so if anyone can recommend a resource or give advice, I would appreciate it.

In a few months I will be treating a few Red-eared slidders who're over shedding scutes so info for them would be helpful as well if you have it.

Btw, don't worry, I AM dry docking.
