I was treating my cage with provent-a-mite and by mistake I left the water dishes in while spraying them. Is there anything I can do to use them again or should they absolutely be thrown away. I dumped the water out and scrubbed them extensively, but I am afraid if I put it back in with water in it it will draw the soaked in provent a mite from the dish into the water

What are the dishes made of?

If you are really concerned, soak them in water. Dilution is always the solution. If you scrubbed them though I doubt there will be anything to cause harm.

P-A-M breaks down in water anyway, but you could soak the dishes in a mild bleach solution and then rinse well. Just make sure to let them air a bit before using again. Just give them a good sniff, if you can't smell bleach then you should be good.

And if the bowls are the standard glass or glazed type, the stuff can't soak into them.

Thank you for very much, I just wanted to make sure it was safe before I risked the health of my snake :)
