Hi all,
my brother is a very keen 17yr old reptile enthusiast.
yesterday we found a viv door open to find that his 20/25 cm tegu had escaped.
i really need help finding him as he could have gone downstairs or under floorboards...
time is of the essence and we have looked everywhere we can think of, please help if you can.

P.s the gap between the floorboards and the ceiling is about 20cm
PP.s The stairs could be climbed down

set up a lamp for heat, put flour between all the doorways so if it goes through you can see a trail and know which room its in, and set up food so to get it to come out.

Try the flour trick, I have also taken the ten gallon tank I keep crickets in, put a heat pad near it, clamp lamp on the side, and propped the lid for the cage up like a ramp. in hopes he will climb up and go in after the crickets, i also put a few small bowls with a bit of his canned food out in containers, hoping he would find his way in for the food, but not out.
So far he has not shown up, but i'm still trying.
