I don't have any experience with them. It would cost a small fortune to fill a 4 ft enclosure 8 inches deep. Basically if it's to be used for a burrowing reptile. Then it needs the ability to hold moisture and harden up a little to hold the burrows. Most straight sand products dry out too much from the heat.

Not really needing them to burrow, just something other than play sand. Lol im picky I know.

I'm not fond of playsand either. It's very dusty and large grained.

I picked up a bag of Crabiesea sand, Its for reptiles though. I hope I got the right stuff lol.
