Flooring suggested earlier not good

the flooring I suggested, after careful observaton for a whole day I have realized that my iguana was eating the substrate instead of his food although it is 100 percent digestible I don't want him eating that over his greens so I swiched back to my mat and thats what he will stay on from now on. i am still having trouble with the humidity level and keeping it up though, can anyone tell me how. it is a small enough cage though my friend and I are trading tanks because I need a bigger one and all she has is a newt in a 30 or 40 gallon tank. so she is taking mine and I am taking hers. so I am buessing that keeping the humidity level up nthat one will be harder than the one I have so any suggestions on how to keep the humidity level stable? i spray it as often as possible but I also don't want it to be too wet and cause health problems. how can I accomplish this?

Congrats and getting rid of that death sentace that you called a substrate. You need to realize that it is NOT 100% digestable like the packaging says. There is not truth in advertising!

You should just stick with the spraying for now and work your butt off to get the adult cage built, make that your main area of focus because a 30g tank is still too small for a hatchling iguana. Look into large water pans, misting systems, and humidifiers for the large cage.
