i will be moving him into the bigger tank today. i am going to set his cage up the same way as in the 5.5 gallon one but in this one at least he will have more room.

Sometimes you want to hit yourself in the head after something happens to one of you critters. Like Rich said, Heat Rocks are suppose to be good for your iggy.... We are still dealing with the last of the burn our iggy got from his previous owner a year later. The point to this: Those who own the reptiles and deal with them daily usually know what is best for them.
