Wouldn't it be nice for the crix to just be quiet? But they aren't bad compared to my cats when they FIND a cricket. They are completley indoor cats so they decided not to have any predatory instincts. Please note that they did when I got them. So my female finds a cricket, puts a paw on it, and then starts crying and crying and crying. She is so loud that as soon as she starts my neighbors hit the walls. And of course, she only finds crickets at night, she can't be bothered to catch them in the daytime, when I'm awake. She likes to chase them and play with them and all that. But once they are caught, she's like a kid yelling "MOM, COME LOOK WHAT I GOT!!!" Not one time, has she slayed the cricket. And here she goes again...
