Any vines from outside should be soaked or baked to get rid of bugs and other contaminants you wouldn't want in your tank.

I'd personally suggest soaking in warm water, then baking them, that will dry it out, and kill everything, about 30 minutes at 300-350F outta do it, not much can survive that.

I should have him set up and ready before next weekend. I'd do it this weekend, but I'm going to Tennessee with my boyfriend to visit his family. Since school's out, I should be able to do it during the week. It'll be done soon, I'm hoping.
